So Friday night I'm trying to get people together to see Undead, allegedly the most creative/ridiculous zombie movie since Dead Alive. Anyone up for it? Granted this is kinda last minute, but better something than nothing, eh?

    Holy Crap! I'm writing something!
I've been meaning to post something on what's been going on the past month or so, but I haven't gotten around to it. Now I can in a concise manner due to being tagged by [info]belovedlake.

Once you've been tagged, post six random facts about yourself. Then chose six people and tag them to do the same.

    My Six
    1) I turned 23 on July 7
    2) Immediately after graduation I got back into martial arts, it's been awesome
    3) I finished the hours for my internship 2 weeks ago, once I get all the paperwork done I'll get my degree
    4) I went to the party at Brent's place last weekend, it was quite awesome though the drive was hell
    5) I saw Clerks 2 last night, which I found far better than the original. It can be summed up in, "I'm sorry Jesus!"
    6) I have great difficulty dealing with and adhering to formality.

    I now tag:

    I normally don't do these...
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don’t speak often) please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE-UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me.

It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you’re finished, post this little paragraph on your LJ and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON’T ACTUALLY remember about you.

    The Bastards
So I went with some people to see Silent Hill tonight. The movie was alright, but the key thing was when my car broke down as I turned into campus. I made it about 8 feet past the light and the car died.... again. The third time in the third week. First the battery needed replacing, then it had the wrong sparkplug, now I have no idea what the fuck. At this point I'm getting worried about driving home or to work, half expecting the car to die while I'm on the highway, probably in the fast lane given my luck. This happened around 12:45 or so. Soon after, the buses for the Junior/Senior were returning. How the first one didn't hit me and rip up the back of my car will forever remain a mystery. What is not a mystery is the fact that I've never been yelled at by so many drunk assholes in such a short amount of time. Public Safety and the friends I went with had to help push the car over to the side to accomodate the ridiculous amounts of traffic late at night. By 3:50, AAA finally towed the car. Apparently there'd been an accident they were cleaning up that held them up forever. Seriously, what the crap?

And on this quiz I got notably different results from the last time I took it.

    Today is my happy day
Last night was awesome. I hung out with the the crazy sophmore crew and 6 of us piled into my car to see V for Vendetta. The original plan was to take the train to get to the theater, but why do that when you have cars? The movie was friggin awesome and you should see it. Yes you. Even if you already saw it. Anyway, the great thing about the night was actually the drive back afterward. Given the road system in this county, particularly the "city" we were in, it's incredibly easy to get lost. Imagine if you will, an Escher painting turned into a jigsaw puzzle and thrown across the room. And so no direction sense could save us as we went a completely different route to get back to campus. Granted it was easy enough to figure out where I was and how to get back to campus from there, but it did involve ridiculous U-turns that never ended and uncertainty. What made it even better was the fact that I wore a shirt saying "I'm lost, but I'm making good time." This was especially true by the fact that we got back to familiar territory, hit the diner for milkshakes, and passed the train station as the train we would have taken in the original plan came by. And driving back to campus is much faster than walking, as is obvious. Because there were couples making out in the backseat during the entire drive, and since they ran off in various directions to get it on as soon as we parked, my car now has a name. Since the Pimpin' Ford Taurus has been long dead I have been unable to find a name for my current car. After last night it became clear that this car is the Sexmobile.

All in all, it was a very good night. Easily the best I've had in a very long time. It has been far too long since I went on an adventure, and even longer since I did so with jovial company.

My spoilerish thoughts on the movie )
